OWS Astroturf Roots

You remember those so-called “grass roots” activists making a political statement by hanging out at Wall Street, disrupting businesses and generally carrying on cranky.

Well, it seems that they have deep roots in our friend ACORN, that’s right, the organization that helps out pimps, has been convicted of of massive vote fraud in multiple states, and deep and long term connections to our Dear Leader, Barack Hussein Obama.

Let us go to the video for the proof.

Yup, that is one of the “socially conscious”, open minded and tolerant liberal protesters literally shitting a New York City Police Car.

Follow the Money! Algore edition

Yes, another installment in our Follow the Money series!

This time it’s Algore at the end of the money trail!  Investors Business Daily reports:

No one has made more money from climate change hype than Gore. According to the U.K.’s Guardian newspaper, just one of the “green” companies in which Gore has invested has received over half a billion dollars in subsidies from the Energy Department.

Yup, the same Algore who made piles and piles of money selling so called  “carbon credits” by telling people that the oceans were going to rise within the next few years and flood the coasts, then bought a giant, energy consuming mansion on the southern California coast line.

What is the democrats problem with simple facts?

Clearly, the shared reality of rational adults is not the strong point of democrats.

Case in point, democrat party “spokesperson” Debbie Wasserman-Schultz.  Ms. Wasserman-Schultz goes on a hysterical rant accusing the Congressional Republicans, who only control one half of one third of the Federal government, of trying to impose “dictatorship” by means of following the defined Constitutional process.

Let us review who actually desires to impose a “dictatorship” on the American people.  President Barack H. Obama recently addressed the far left extremist racist organization “La Rasa” and said the following, “Believe me, the idea of doing things on my own is very tempting.”

Let’s review the facts here, the democrats control the White House and the Senate, and are accusing the House Republicans, who only have a simple majority in the House, of trying to impose a “dictatorship.”  Sounds more like the democrats are being whiny little bitches now that they can’t shove their far left extremist agenda down the throats of the American people unopposed.  The democrats are falling back on their basic argument that anybody who dares to oppose them should “shut up” and let them implement their far left extremist agenda.  The problem with this argument is, as our Dear Leader pointed out, Elections Have Consequences‏. The 2010 elections were a resounding vote against the extremist policies of President Obama and the congressional democrats. Unfortunately for the congressional democrats and our Dear Leader, they have to live in the reality they reject.

Liberal Minds: A Walking Contradiction

A liberal….

worships President Franklin D Roosevelt, who carpet bombed German cities and executed an American-born spy captured on US soil after a secret military trial—but screams that Bush was guilty of war crimes;

is crazy about Michael Moore—but against childhood obesity;

tapes over a sign that said “Too Many Jews At Harvard” with a sign that said “Ethnic Quotas This Way”;

is enraged with Karl Rove for releasing the name of a CIA paper-pusher (which he didn’t do)—-but are excited with WikiLeaks putting thousands of classified national security documents on the Internet;

categorically opposes the death penalty for convicted murderers—but screams it’s a ‘constitutional right’ to kill innocent, unborn babies;

hysterically opposed taking out Saddam Hussein, a mass murderer who gassed his own people and presided over ‘rape rooms’—but weepily demands we intervene in Rwanda and Lybia for humantarian reasons;

claims to be pro-children—but supports public schools and refuses to support charter schools;

champions women and gay rights—but ignores the brutal treatment of women and gays by Muslims;

claims it was a vicious slander to be called a communist in the fifties—-but didn’t see anything wrong with actually being a communist in the fifties;

advocates unfettered scientific research and debate—but  then, with no evidence, simply declares discussions about global warming closed;

yelps for clean alternative energy—bit violently opposes nuclear power;

supports sustainable energy sources like offshore wind farms—-unless the offshore wind farm obscures their view from Cape Cod;

decries stereotyping—but when a black conservative comes along, denounces that person as ‘unqualified’, ‘stupid’, a ‘house nigga’, an ‘Uncle Tom’ or ‘window dressing’;

believes Tea Partiers are terrorists—but Islamic Jihadists are victims.

Yet another example of how Liberals are really, really bad at history

The current case in point, the so-called “Top Cop” in democrat political machine controlled Chicago claims that current federal “gun control laws” are “racist.”

What makes this interesting is that his statement is actually correct, but his attempt at reasoning is completely and utterly wrong base on actual historical facts.

Yes, so-called “gun control” laws, especially the federal ones, are race based policies designed to deny black (and other minority) citizens their Second Amendment Rights, and the majority of them were passed by democrats.

For the whole story, read The Racist Roots of Gun Control, which was originally published in the Kansas Journal of Law and Public Policy back in 1995.

Here is the executive summary:

The first so-called “gun control” laws passed in the United States were in Southern states right after the end of the Civil War.  They were implemented to protect members of the KKK from being shot by citizens the Klan members still considered uppity property when the Klan showed up in the middle of night to string a few American Citizens up by the neck as a warning to other black Americans to ‘keep their place.”

Even before the Civil War, the Tennessee state constitution had the following line in it: ” “That the free white men of this State have a right to keep and to bear arms for their common defense.”  Note that free ‘persons of color’ were denied the basic Human Right of effective self-defense.  They were to be at the mercy of ‘their betters.’   Yes, even then, those who today would be self-labeled “progressives” were closet aristocrats.

Clearly reality isn’t the left’s strong point

The left keeps repeating their talking point, that Gov Sarah Palin, who currently is running rings around the mainstream media, is “stupid” and an “idiot.” In the meantime, the left’s anointed leader, Barack Hussein Obama, who they keep referring to asthe smartest President evah!“, can’t string a basic sentence together without a string of ummms when he isn’t reading directly off a teleprompter.  Even with his precious teleprompter, he twice referred to Navy Corpsmen as “corpsemen” in a prepared speech honoring Navy Corpsmen!

This is the “genius” who thinks there are 57 states, that Asthmatic kids should get a breathalyzer, and said the Constitution was written “20 centuries ago”.

Clearly, the collected shared reality of rational adults is not the space inhabited by leftists to whom the message is more important than reality.

Imagine the uproar if a Fox News anchor had said this

File under yet another example of how bad liberals are at history.  Perhaps that is because they tend to rewrite it in a blatantly Orwellian fashion to fit whatever they think will assist their next grab at the brass ring of power, but I digress slightly.  The topic at hand is in your face ignorance of the party that is constantly telling you how stupid anybody who dares disagree with them are.

Listen to this clip of a MSNBC talking head, i.e. a “News Anchor”, attempt to “educate” his listening audience and get a key historical fact about an elected democrat President completely and utterly wrong.  This isn’t a slip of the Talking Head’s tongue, he’s reading from a prepared script, in a produced segment, complete with background graphics. The fact that JFK was assassinated in November of 1963, requiring LBJ to have been elected in November 1964, in order to decide not to run in 1968, is completely lost not only by the “News Anchor”, but the also by: the person or persons who wrote the segment, the producer of the segment, as well as anybody in the entire production team that set the segment up for presentation on the air.

Given that MSNBC’s business plan is to “out fox Fox News, but from the extreme left”, it is doubtful that  there is a single Republican or conservative in that list of people involved in the production of the so-called “news segment” in question. One possible explanation is that the entire crew is so indoctrinated in the liberal “group think” or “herd mentality”, that none dared question the obvious and glaring error.  A large C Conservative or Libertarian would have stood up and pointed out the error.  The leftists have been conditioned not to question authority from “their betters.”

Then again, as one of the people commenting on the post I’m referencing there points out, it was a production team at MSNBC who let one of that network’s political “commentators”, Rachel Maddow, “mock Boehner for saying the Constitution has a Preamble.”

Perhaps MSNBC is betting that their audience is woefully ignorant about actual American history.

A couple of Weinergate updates

First off, the predictable response of the far left extremist spokesperson the democrat party, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz.

This is Wasserman-Schultz stonewalling on WeinerGate, defending her hyper-partisan college Rep. “Crotch Shot” Weiner

Avoid the question, repeat the scripted talking point, no substance, no solution.

Let’s go back not that long ago and see what she had to say when the congressman with the “personal matter” had a ‘R’ after his name.

What I’ve called for is an investigation to be completed within 10 days. And quite honestly, yes, I do think that Denny Hastert should resign . . . I‘d like to see the Republican caucus call upon their leadership, Speaker Hastert, Majority Leader Boehner, to get this resolved quickly. Do it before the election. And I haven‘t heard them say that. They‘re saying have the FBI investigate, have the House Ethics Committee investigate. They need to push their leadership to get this resolved so that they can move on, and we can make sure that we can restore the trust that they have shaken the public in Congress.

A predicable, partisan based double standard.

HT to Legal Insurrection for this one.

The second item comes via the Talk Straight blog.

File this under “Are we seeing a pattern here?”

In 2008, Rep. Weiner introduced a bill that would create 1,000 new visa slots for foreign fashion models. Specifically European fashion models for NYC’s Fashion Week. This was also known as the “increasing the number of Euro-Hotties in my district” bill.

Update: Rep. Weiner just held a press conference where he admitted to everything! The picture was of him, he sent it and this wasn’t the only case!

Of course, the leftists are still blaming Andrew Breitbart in the face of Weiner’s confession.  Rep. Weiner also says the won’t resign.  He will also get the support of the DNC leadership, who in their blatant hypocrisy, have called for anybody in a similar situation, but with a ‘R’ after his name to either resign immediately, or have their leadership remove him from office.

Kudos to Rep. Weiner for being honest when trapped and cornered by the truth.  That does put him heads and shoulders above many of his democrat congressional colleagues.
