When democrats Attack!

Time for another exciting chapter of “When democrats Attack!”

Let us start with a bit of “blue on blue” action.

Rep. Carnahan, democrat from Missouri, had his office firebombed.  Of course, the open minded and tolerant liberals blamed someone from the “Tea Party,” despite there being absolutely no history of violence from that group.

So, who actually firebombed the offices of the democrat from Missouri? Well, it turns out that it was one of his own staffers, a liberal democrat by the name of Chris Powers.

Let’s follow that up with a NYC leftist stabbing a Muslim cabdriver in the neck for…wait for it…being a Muslim!

Big HT to Gateway Pundit for these stories the DNC/MSM won’t carry.

Just to round out the Hat Trick, here is another GP story about an open minded and tolerant leftist who verbally attacked an 82 year old Holocaust survivor.  The  open minded and tolerant leftist said that the 82 year old Holocaust survivor “obviously didn’t learn his lesson.”

Obama knew his policies would kill jobs in the Gulf

23,000 jobs killed by our Dear Leader in the hard hit Gulf Coast.

It’s been very clear that improving the economy has not a priority of Barry or the democrat controlled congress.

That raises the question of just what is our Dear Leader‘s top priority?

It’s not the economy, or transparency, or an ethical government.

His personal goal is pretty clear, improving his golf game.

Morning roundup

The LA Times makes an interesting observation about our Dear Leader

“[The Obama] administration has pursued a quiet but malicious campaign against the news media and their sources, more aggressively attacking those who ferret out confidential information than even the George W. Bush administration did”

American Socialists Release Names of 70 Congressional Democrats in Their Ranks.

The New York Post notes:

In a move of stunning hypocrisy, the United Federation of Teachers axed one of its longtime employees — for trying to unionize the powerful labor organization’s own workers, it was charged yesterday.

democrats to Massachusetts voters: It’s not the “Peoples’ Seat” you peasants! It’s the Kennedy seat!

Comparing Barry’s view to reality.

First, our Dear leader claims that worst of the recession that started when democrats took over congress is over.

Hmmm…let’s see, the “official” unemployment rate is still 9.5% and real unemployment is still in the 15% range.

New unemployment claims have hit a six month high, and unemployment among the young is breaking new records under the economic policies of democrat control of both Congress and the White House. Policies that have added another $165 billion to the deficit in the month of July alone.

Let’s not forget the stock market, which seems stalled around 10K.

Let’s review the facts here, when the Republicans controlled both Congress and the White House, unemployment was under 5% for most of the time and not much over the rest, and the Dow was soaring over 13K.

When Barry made that idiotic statement about not letting the Republicans have the keys to car back, he was really hoping that most American voters can’t remember anything prior to 2007.

Greg Gutfeld is a genius!

Greg Gutfeld is planning a stroke of pure fornicating genius.  He is raising money to build a Muslim gay bar next to the Ground Zero mosque.

I’m announcing tonight, that I am planning to build and open the first gay bar that caters not only to the west, but also Islamic gay men. To best express my sincere desire for dialogue, the bar will be situated next to the mosque Park51, in an available commercial space.

This is not a joke. I’ve already spoken to a number of investors, who have pledged their support in this bipartisan bid for understanding and tolerance.

As you know, the Muslim faith doesn’t look kindly upon homosexuality, which is why I’m building this bar. It is an effort to break down barriers and reduce deadly homophobia in the Islamic world.

The goal, however, is not simply to open a typical gay bar, but one friendly to men of Islamic faith. An entire floor, for example, will feature non-alcoholic drinks, since booze is forbidden by the faith. The bar will be open all day and night, to accommodate men who would rather keep their sexuality under wraps – but still want to dance.

To make it even better, the Muslims behind the NYC Ground Zero “Victory Mosque” are all upset over Gutfeld not respecting their “sensibilities.”

Kudos to Gutfeld for exposing what an uber-putz that idiot is.  It’s all about “understanding and tolerance”, just like they claim their mosque is.

Anybody who opposes Gutfeld’s plans must be racist and intolerant.

Why won’t President Obama support the ruling against California’s Prop 8?

Just to recap, Prop 8 was were the citizens of California exercised their civil rights and voted to limit civil marriages (i.e. the ones you get a Marriage License  for) to heterosexual couples.    A judge recently over overturned the will of the California people and ruled that the state must give out marriage licenses to same sex couples as well.

This is a big win to a large chunk of the President’s base (and a win for the small government Libertarians who are most definitely not his base).  So why isn’t our Dear Leader’s administration actively supporting this ruling and supporting the victory of their supporters?

As much as I, and other Libertarians, would like to take credit for it, I really don’t think this is a small government/big government thing for our Dear Leader.  It probably has more to do with the values he learned while attending a homophobic, racist church for 20 years.  I’m willing to bet that Barry and his advisors know that actively supporting homosexual rights here in America would run counter to their goal of “out reach” to the Muslim world.

No matter what his reasoning, his supporters are correctly calling him out on this matter, and they deserve an honest answer.

Don’t get your hopes up.  I’m guessing this is just a bit of fan artwork.

Three interesting bits of SciFi

Ok, one is Pulp, so call it two and half.

First, Matt Smith is coming back for 13 new episodes of Doctor Who, which, like bow ties, is cool.  Not so sure about the Fez though.  Johnny Johnny can pull it off, but I think River and Amy had the right idea.

Joe Haldeman’s The Forever War is coming to the screen, and it’s being done by Ridley Scott and David Webb Peoples.  Those are the fellows who brought you Bladerunner.

The juicy pulp rumor is that Quentin Tarantino is working on a Shadow movie, which would be cooler than bow ties.
