Wisconsin Fleebaggers heavily funded by Public Employee Union payments

Color me not surprised.  Here is the, ahem, money quote.

The 14 Wisconsin Democratic senators who fled to Illinois share more than just political sympathy with the public employees and unions targeted by Gov. Scott Walker’s budget-repair bill.

The Senate Democrats count on those in the public sector as a key funding source for their campaigns.

In fact, nearly one out of every five dollars raised by those Democratic senators in the past two election cycles came from public employees, such as teachers and firefighters, and their unions, a Journal Sentinel analysis of campaign records shows. . . .

Math is clearly not our Dear Leader’s strong point

Charles Krauthammer points out that the “accounting” in our Dear Leader’s so-called “budget” is the type that would get an ordinary citizen thrown in jail.

Classic Obama debt reduction: Add $2 trillion in new taxes, then add $1 trillion in new spending and, presto, you’ve got $1 trillion of debt reduction. It’s the same kind of mad deficit accounting in Obamacare: It reduces debt by adding $540 billion in new spending, then adding $770 billion in new taxes. Presto: $230 billion of “debt reduction.” Bialystock & Bloom accounting.

Bonus points for the Mel Brooks reference.

Liberals say it’s legal to require every American to purchase mandatory health insurance…

…but they oppose voter IDs.

Harvard’s Niall Ferguson Schools MSNBC Talking Head on Muslim Brotherhood and Caliphate

Mr. Ferguson is articulate, competent, and lays out the facts of his argument very clearly.

How he made it past the MSNBC screeners is a good question.

Excellent lecture from Sam of Day by Day:

“…progressives are basically old cross-dressing boomer socialist decked out in your party dress, masquerading as ‘the people’, and hold out the same old, dead, withered 100 year old hands of Marx and Engels.

Britain, France, Germany have all renounced it, and it’s no surprise that that the three biggest bankrupt U.S. states are blue – California, Illinois, and New York.

Sorry, but progressives and multiculturalism are out-dated, incompetent, and well… kinda gross.

After two years of total control by democrat-progressives, we can all see how they match up to reality, n’cest-ce pas?

A President promising efficient government triples the deficit, and blows 3 Trillion with zero result except for 10.3 percent unemployment.

An Attorney General of the Justice Department so riddled with racism he won’t prosecute an open and shut case regarding the Black Panthers.

A Homeland Security head who can only sue states who try and secure the borders she’s responsible for.

Political pundits who claim people haven’t the intelligence to understand the Constitution because it’s ‘100 years old’.

A CIA chief who says he gets the latest intel from CNN – Jan, one could go on for hours…”

More “Progressive Hate”

Pretty sicking stuff.  They are very vocal in calling for conservatives to be “tortured” and killed.  One of these enlightened, open minded and tolerant liberals wanted to “string up” Supreme Court Justice Thomas.  Hate and racism in one neat leftist package. The most polite liberal in this video wanted to send Justice Thomas “back to the fields.”

This was taken at a rally of the “liberal” group Common Cause.

Culture of Corruption Marches On

Ngozi Pole, the former Office Manager to the late Senator Ted Kennedy, was arrested back in December 2009 on six separate counts of federal fraud and theft. He illegally inflated his salary and submitting falsified records to the Senator’s Chief of Staff in order to hide his theft of tax payer money.

He was found guilty on five counts of wire fraud and one count of theft of government property on Tuesday.   Justice may be a bit slow, but it did come through in the end.  The sentencing will be interesting.

Let’s take a look at what’s going on in the world.

U.S. Initial Jobless Claims Rose More Than Estimated Last Week to 454,000

“Unexpectedly” is the word used to describe this jump by those not paying attention.

Social Security now seen to run permanent deficits.

Well ahead of schedule.

Obamacare waivers skyrocket to 729 + 4 states; 4 new SEIU waiver winners

They don’t want Obamacare? They must be racists!

Foreclosure activity up across most US metro areas.

“The foreclosure crisis is getting worse as high unemployment and lackluster job prospects force homeowners in an increasing number of U.S. metropolitan areas into dire financial straits.” Hmmm…didn’t they hear our Dear Leader say that we have “broken the back of the recession”? Maybe they are just afraid of the violent tone of his rhetoric.

Oh, and to wrap it up. Sage advice from Doug Powers.

“Note to those in the 18th congressional district of Texas: When a woman who once asked if NASA’s Pathfinder took pictures of where Neil Armstrong planted the flag on Mars calls you ill-informed, it’s time to hit the books.”

In other news, the government chocolate ration is being raised from 30 grams to 25 grams.

Hope n’ Change Comics

Meanwhile, in the Commonwealth

Our democrat controlled Legislature voted to keep their action from public view.

The Massachusetts House and Senate voted to kill a Republican sponsored bill to put Committee roll call votes on the Legislature’s website. The democrats want to keep the current rules, which require citizens to drive to Boston during business hours in order to obtain information on how their elected officials voted.

Just what do the democrats in the state legislature want to keep hidden from the citizens of the Commonwealth?

There was also a strict party line vote in the House that killed a Republican sponsored bill that would have prohibited the House from approving any tax hikes without a two-thirds majority on a roll call vote.

OK, so one thing they are trying to hide is that they are going to jack up your taxes, and they want to be able to give political cover to some of the reps by not forcing them to vote for the tax hike.
