Obame Regime claims the War Powers Act doesn’t apply to them.

Jake Tapper of ABC news reports on the latest whopper from the Imperial Obama Regime.
Our Dear Leader claims that his unprovoked war on Libya, which presented no immediate threat to the United States of America, does not require Congressional approval. Why, because it’s just a ‘little war.’ Things like the Constitution and the War Powers Act clearly don’t apply to the whims of Dear Leader under the rule of the Obama Regime.
Obama regime makes another move against States Rights
Regardless of your opinion of the ethics of the death penalty, it has alway been seen as a power legally exercised by the individual states. Some states have it, other don’t, but it is up to each state to decide.
Not so under the Obama regime. Our Dear Leader‘s “Justice” department has instructed the DEA to seize state government’s supply of sodium thiopental. That is part of a three drug cocktail typically used in lethal injection executions. By having the DEA seize this drug using rather sketch “concerns” about the way the drug was imported, which interestingly enough, the DEA/Justice department will no longer discuss.
If our Dear Leader doesn’t like the fact that some states still carry out the death penalty, he should have the guts to come out and say it, rather than hiding behind DEA raids where the agency refuses to discuss the reasons behind the agency seizing the property of state governments.

Let’s take a look at how things are going.
- Our Dear Leader is focusing on what is important to him, his Golfing. He’s out today for round number 64 since taking office.
- With the democrats in charge of both Congress & the White House, the Super Rich see their tax rates go down. Don’t worry, the democrats are still working hard to make sure that middle class have their taxes raised so they can “pay their fair share.”
- Gas prices top $4 a gallon in D.C. and six states. At least our Dear Leader kept one of his campaign promises…
- ACORN pleads guilty in yet another voter fraud case.
- The state of California is seizing property from its citizens’ safety deposit boxes and selling the contents off to try to stem the state’s cash flow problem.
- The UN is trying to erase it’s 2005 prediction of 50 million ‘climate change’ refugees that would exist by 2010.
- Note to leftists, Orwell’s 1984 was meant as a warning, not an instruction manual.
- 2 wars, 2 scandals, 2 presidents add up to uneven coverage
- Leftist harass a black man for attending a Tea Party rally. Liberals really become upset when blacks wander off their plantation.
Some Change I’ve been Hoping for!
This small portion of Obamacare would have created an unfunded mandate that would have destroyed many small businesses.
All we need now is our Dear Leader’s signature, or every business in America will have to file a 1099 form for every business and person they do more than $600 worth of business during the year. If you have a fleet of trucks or cars, your business will have to file a 1099 on every gas station they do business with. Every mom & pop shop will have to file a 1099 for every high school kid they employ. The sheer volume of this paperwork would require businesses to hire dedicated people just to fill out and file the 1099 forms. People they would have to pay out of their profits, and would add zero benefit to their business. The cost of doing business would go up and companies operating on tight margins would be forced out of business by our Dear Leader’s ravenous thirst for new tax revenues.
If our Dear Leader doesn’t sign this bill, it is a clear sign that he values his extremist political agenda more then the American economy and the well being of the American people.

The Obamacare waivers keep on coming. 128 new waivers and still more to come! Interestingly enough, most, if not all, of these Obamacare waivers are going to groups who lobbied for Obamacare! They felt strongly that Obamacare was important for you tax paying peasants to have. For themselves, not so much.

- Attacked Libya, which was no threat to the US, and without Congressional approval

The silence on the democrats’ failure
There is a very important fact that you need to remember that isn’t brought up in the MSM/DNC.
The primary job of Congress is to pass a budget. The democrats controlled both houses of Congress, and the White House, in 2010 and they failed to pass a budget.
The sole reason we are looking at a potential government shut down is that the Congressional democrats failed at their primary job, and our Dear Leader, President Barack Hussein Obama failed to provide any sort of leadership in this matter.
If a government shutdown occurs, it is because the democrats have failed the American people.

What is it with democrats not paying taxes?
Ok, it’s pretty damn clear by now that one of the reason why democrats are so eager to vote for any tax increase that comes across their desk is that have no intention of ever paying it.
Case in point, democrat Senator from Missouri, Clair McCaskill. She just “forgot” to pay $287,000 in property taxes on her very own private jet.
Wait! It gets even better! McCaskill signed on in February as a co-sponsor of Senate legislation that would fire federal employees if they are “seriously delinquent” in paying their own federal taxes…
Yup, by her own rules, democrat Senator McCaskill should be fired.
Wait yet again! There is still more! What was McCaskill’s job from 1999 to 2007? She was the state auditor for Missouri!
So let’s review. We have a current Senator and former state auditor calling for the firing of federal employees who are “seriously delinquent” in paying their federal taxes who just “forgot” to pay $287,000 in property taxes on her personal private jet.
What is no surprise is that Senator McCaskill is a democrat.

One of good ideas of the President’s deficit reduction panel was to drastically simplify the tax code and reduce the highest tax rate to 25%. That will reduce the 30% plus overhead of the IRS and get uber-rich democrats, like my senior Senator, to actually pay their fair share of the taxes paid by almost every other working American.
Don’t expect democrats to embrace this idea though. It goes against their core values, like waging class warfare.
Speaking of taxes and the economy, let’s review this bit of news…
Former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan said a surge in U.S. government “activism,” including fiscal stimulus, housing subsidies and new regulations, is holding back the economic recovery.
Wait! It gets better as Mr. Greenspan puts yet another nail in the coffin of Keynesianism.
“Any withdrawal of action to allow the economy to heal could restore some, or much, of the dynamic of the pre-crisis decade, without its imbalances.”
Not that this will slow down the big government fanatics in our Dear Leader‘s administration.
