Yet another example of how Liberals are really, really bad at history

Monday, June 27th, 2011

The current case in point, the so-called “Top Cop” in democrat political machine controlled Chicago claims that current federal “gun control laws” are “racist.”

What makes this interesting is that his statement is actually correct, but his attempt at reasoning is completely and utterly wrong base on actual historical facts.

Yes, so-called “gun control” laws, especially the federal ones, are race based policies designed to deny black (and other minority) citizens their Second Amendment Rights, and the majority of them were passed by democrats.

For the whole story, read The Racist Roots of Gun Control, which was originally published in the Kansas Journal of Law and Public Policy back in 1995.

Here is the executive summary:

The first so-called “gun control” laws passed in the United States were in Southern states right after the end of the Civil War.  They were implemented to protect members of the KKK from being shot by citizens the Klan members still considered uppity property when the Klan showed up in the middle of night to string a few American Citizens up by the neck as a warning to other black Americans to ‘keep their place.”

Even before the Civil War, the Tennessee state constitution had the following line in it: ” “That the free white men of this State have a right to keep and to bear arms for their common defense.”  Note that free ‘persons of color’ were denied the basic Human Right of effective self-defense.  They were to be at the mercy of ‘their betters.’   Yes, even then, those who today would be self-labeled “progressives” were closet aristocrats.

More violent rhetoric from the left.

Thursday, February 24th, 2011

Gateway Pundit has this story that you won’t see on MS-NBC.

Gay black Tea Partyer attacked By Racist SEIU Activists at Denver Tea Party

Ann Coulter summed it up well.

“You can always tell what liberals are up to by what they accuse you of doing.”

Let’s review the video of how those “tolerant and open minded liberals” act in the wild.

Quote of the Day

Friday, April 30th, 2010

Roger Simon:

“The real reason liberals accuse Tea Partiers of racism is that contemporary American-style liberalism is in rigor mortis. Liberals have nothing else to say or do. Accusations of racism are their last resort.”

Olbermann proves Prof. Reynolds right once again.

Wednesday, January 20th, 2010

Professor Glenn Reynolds, also known as the Instapundit, made the following correct prediction back on June 7, 2008:

I can think of no better reason to vote against Obama than the prospect of an administration where any criticism of the President is treated as racism.

Once again, he is being proved correct.

This time by MSNBC’s resident nutcase, Keith Olbermann:

OLBERMANN: The Republicans and the Tea Partiers will tell you what happens tonight with Scott Brown tonight, whether he wins or comes close, is a repudiation of Obama policies, and surely one of Obama’s policies from the viewpoint of his opponents is that it’s okay to have this sea change in American history, to have an African-American President. Is this vote to any degree just a euphemism the way state’s rights was in the 60s?

FINEMAN: Wow, that is a good question.

Ed Morrissey interjects reality into Olbermann’s rantings:

Yes, because the state that gave Barack Obama a 26-point win in November 2008 has suddenly discovered its inner Bull Connor. That’s not “a good question,” it’s a baldfaced smear on the people of Massachusetts. They elect one Republican, and suddenly in Keith Olbermann’s eyes, everyone there wears a hood and burns crosses. It’s absurd, and Fineman should have said so immediately instead of playing along with Olbermann’s vicious fantasy world in which 201o Massachusetts 0has become 1966 Mississippi.

These MSNBC Moonbats really have gone off the deep end. They are actually flat out calling pickup trucks symbols of racism. These guys are seriously off their meds.

Worst President in the last 50 years

Wednesday, September 16th, 2009

Our Dear Leader hasn’t finished his first term yet, so I’m leaving him out of the running this time.

This leaves us with the clear obvious choice, that noted Anti-Semite, James Earl Carter IV.

The 39th President of the United States, serving from 1977 to 1981 and without a doubt, the worst President of the latter half of the 20th Century and the last fifty years as well.

Well, this idiot has decided to he wants to prove that he is a hypocritical racist by opening his mouth in public again.

Let us review some of Carter’s embarrassing history.

14 ex-staff members refused to be associated with Carter after he published a clearly racist book.

Fourteen members of an advisory board at the Carter Center resigned today, concluding they could “no longer in good conscience continue to serve” following publication of former President Jimmy Carter‘s controversial book, “Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid.”

“It seems that you have turned to a world of advocacy, including even malicious advocacy,” the board members wrote in a letter, a copy of which was reviewed by The Wall Street Journal. “We can no longer endorse your strident and uncompromising position. This is not the Carter Center or Jimmy Carter we came to respect and support. Therefore it is with sadness and regret that we hereby tender our resignation from the Board of Councilors of the Carter Center effective immediately.”

Victor Davis Hanson reminds of us of Carter’s worst policy failure:

“In his dotage, Carter is proving once again that he is as malicious and mean-spirited a public figure as he is historically ignorant. And for all his sanctimonious Christian veneer, and fly-fishing, ‘aw shucks blue-jeans image, he can’t hide an essentially ungracious and unkind soul. . . . Carter’s Waterloo, of course was the Iranian hostage crisis. It was not just that his gutting of the military helped to explain the rescue disaster. Far more importantly, we can chart the rise of radical political Islam with the storming of the American embassy in Teheran and the impotent response of Jimmy Carter.”

As a noted Anti-Semite, former President Carter should not be trying to lecture others on the topic of racism, but then he is, and clearly always has been, grossly incompetent.

New political term: Racer

Sunday, September 13th, 2009

Racer: (rā’sər) n. Person who makes false claims of racism in order to avoid answering legitimate arguments.

Update: Example: Maureen Dowd, Racer.  Why let the fact that Joe Wilson was right, and our Dear Leader was wrong, get in the way of thoughtless smear.

Prof. Reynolds was right

Friday, April 17th, 2009

Back on June 7, 2008, law professor Glenn Reynolds (better known as Instapundit) posted the following:

I can think of no better reason to vote against Obama than the prospect of an administration where any criticism of the President is treated as racism.

Well folks, as it has been shown before, he was bloody well right.
The extremist far left has their spokeskook, Garofalo, on MSNBC with Olbermann spouting their nonsense.

The rational thought content in her rant is stuck at zero. This is pure leftism, no logic, no facts, just raw hate.
