Republican Scott Brown has defeated democrat Martha Coakley in the special election to replace the late Senator Ted Kennedy.

This is despite having our Dear Leader, Barack Hussein Obama, and former President Clinton come here to the People’s Republic to stump for Coakley.

So, this is the third democrat candidate that BHO has visited and campaigned for.  All three have lost.  He’s four for four if you count his trip to Copenhagen and not getting the Olympics for Chicago.

The democrats will try to deny this simple fact, but the truth is that this election is very much a vote against Obama’s failed administration and policies.  He can try to deal with this reality or continue to attempt to drive the country down the wrong path.

Even more raw hatred from the left

President Obama, Speaker Pelosi and Senator Reid should publicly apologize for the rantings of MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann and condemn it as hate speech.

This pattern of behavior is deeply disturbing.

The Scott Brown for U.S. Senate rally in Worcester, MA was a big success.

Cape Cod Times supports Republican Scott Brown for US Senate!

The Obama  White House predicts a win for Brown! Tossing Martha under the Obama bus already?

Some honesty from MSNBC’s Ed Schultz. He says he would “cheat” and vote ten times if he could to keep Scott Brown out of the U.S. Senate.

From a buddy of mine.

Don’t forget to vote on Tuesday the 19th additionally please visit the Scott Brown web site at: http://www.brownforussenate.com/ and perhaps lend a helping hand.

Just a reminder, this photo shows what democrat Martha Coakley thinks of the free press.  She probably thinks less of the peasants who are supposed to “anoint” her to the Senate.

Liberal Double Standards

The following is post I made to a Facebook thread, promoting Pat Robertson voodoo dolls. There was much indignation at my suggestion that there be an accompanying Danny Glover doll for his assertion that the earthquake hit Haiti for crimes against Gaia.

The people of Haiti are in much more immediate danger from the sadly uniform governmental corruption that all too common in the third world than either climate change (natural or induced by human action) or the “wrath of God.” What I find disturbing is that both Robertson and Glover are using this human tragedy of Biblical Proportions (I’m using the term as a reference of scale, not to indicate any possible cause) to promote their own political/religious agendas. Was what Robertson said provocative enough to cause a great deal of people to smite him verily across the cheek with the back of their hand? Clearly so. I’m not knocking the voodoo doll idea. I’ve got a few myself and Robertson has a history of making public statements that provoke that kind of response. So does Glover, although generally with a different set of people. (The Pink Pistols probably are horked off at both, but they are a pretty broad minded group in general). One difference between Robertson and Glover is that, based on past disasters, Robertson’s group will likely be one of the first groups to get aid supplies into Haiti. After Katrina hit shore, his group got aid into the area before FEMA, the Red Cross and the state government. So while Robertson often says things that sound like someone seriously off his meds (go ahead, stick another pin in), his actions show that he remembers the Christian concept of “Hate the sin. Love the Sinner.” That puts him head of a lot of other TV preachers, such as that uber-jerk Jim Baker. That aside, both Robertson and Glover are jerks for using this human tragedy to promote their own political/religious agendas. The same holds for anyone who blames an earthquake on: the hunting of whales, communism, greed on Wall Street, the Grays or my personal favorite, the Bavarian Illuminati. You can argue the level of jerkiness, but the basic label still applies.

I expect that most leftists will not be able to see reason on this topic.
Update: Sadly, I was right. The original poster is driven more by his raw hatred of those who dare disagree with him than actual facts or logic.  Let’s also keep in mind the basic difference in philosophy.  Robertson, whom the liberals hate because of his religious beliefs and his words, which they find “offensive” has created a large organization to help those in need, even those he disagrees with.  Glover, the socialist, is calling for the government to act in order to make him feel better as a person.  Which one of these two are actually doing more for the betterment of their fellow human beings?

democrats against the First Amendment

Yet another case of democrat‘s utter contempt for a Free Press (at least when it isn’t acting in their benefit).

Weekly Standard reporter John McCormack tried to question democrat Martha Coakley out side a fund raiser in Washington, D.C. (Coakley is  running for the Senate in Massachusetts, where her Republican opponent has no problem raising funds) and was “roughed upfor daring to exercise his First Amendment rights.

Don’t expect this type of behavior from democrat Martha Coakley if she gets elected to the US Senate.

More at Frugal Cafe, Hot Air & Michelle Malkin’s site.

Update: Coakley aide Michael Meehan admits he shoved Weekly Standard reporter John McCormack to the ground.

Quick twitter roundup

Some good stuff I’ve seen on Twitter:

“Bill Clinton coming to MA for Martha Coakley & the SEIU is paying for attack ads for Martha against Scott Brown. Sexual predators & thugs for Martha!” — Kathleen Beaulieu

I wonder if the commedians in Massachusetts are making any jokes about Martha Coakley’s slutty flight attendent look?

Martha Coakley can’t get enough money from the traditional Dem establishment to match you, so she is going to SEIU for a 700k ad buy. — Patrick Ruffini

Mass Republican candidate for Senate raises $1 Million in one day!

Scott Brown, the Republican running for uber-democrat Ted Kennedy’s old seat, raised $1 Million dollars in just one day.

That is truly amazing in the oh-so liberal People’s Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Or perhaps not. We residents of the Commonwealth got a sneak preview of ObamaAmerica with our own worthless Governor, Deval “Together We Can” Patrick. Patrick had zero executive experience when he took over the Governor’s office and his socialist policies, along with his kowtowing to the state employee unions and raising taxes while the state hemorrhages high tech jobs, have given us a unique perspective of what allowing our Dear Leader to implement his socialist policies will do to the country.

Update: Three Massachusetts news papers have endorsed Scott Brown. The Worcester Telegram & Gazette, the Boston Herald and the Lowell Sun. The Boston Globe is so deep in the DNC’s pocket, they would endorse a convicted felon as long as the felon was running as a democrat.

What is it that the democrats are afraid to show the American People?

House and Senate democrat “leaders” are planning on keeping deliberations secret as they work out the compromise “heath care” bill behind closed doors.

C-Span is calling for the congressional democrats to do what our Dear Leader called for, have the debate open and available for the American People to see.

Openness and transparency in the political process. That is what the democrats ran on, but are refusing to implement.

The reality is the the democrats really don’t want any honest and open debate. If that happens, the American people could see exactly what they are trying to shove down their throats without their knowledge.

A wise woman spoke the truth when she said, “They win in the dark; we win in the light.”

The last thing the democrats want is the ObamaCare bill to be brought out of the cover of darkness and into the cleansing light of the public.
