What happened to the meme of the Republicans committing suicide?

Tuesday, November 26th, 2013
Bet you haven’t heard that one in a while.  Probably something to do with Obamacare, which no Republican voted for, being an epic clusterfuck of massive proportions.
A massive failure that was described in detail years ago, only to have those people speaking the truth (because they actually read the so-called “Affordable Care Act”), vilified as racists for daring to commit double plus unhood bad think against our Dear Leader’s Socialist dream.
Or as one pundit put it, Fox News is changing their byline from “Fair and Balanced” to “I told you so.”
Remember how democrats were calling Ted Cruz a “terrorist” for wanting to stop Obamacare? The same democrats that won’t refer to Major Hassan’s attack on US soldiers at Fort Hood as a terrorist attack.  Now we have hardcore, far left extremist democrats, most of which happen to be up for reelection in 2014 (like Al Franken. who only won his election after bags of ballots were mysteriously found), calling for delays in further implementation of Obamacare, at least until after their next election.  If liberal logic actually made any sense, they would be branded terrorists too.  Don’t hold your breath on that though, MSNBC is too busy committing hate crimes against women to admit they were Goebbels  level propagandists for our Dear Leader and his plan to fundamentally transform America.
Here is something that should have been a warning for the so called “centrists” and “moderates” that listened to  the “dog whistle” leftists and voted for the guy who wasn’t even a successful community organizer.  You don’t try and “fundamentally transform” something you like.

A look at ObamaCare

Tuesday, November 19th, 2013

First off, the reality of the so-called “Affordable Care Act” being a Charlie Fox of epic proportions is not new.  This was clearly evident from the beginning.  I posted a  detailed lists of problems back  July, 2009. In early 2011, I listed over 20 new taxes created by Obamacare.

The shock that young people, who voted for our Dear Leader in droves, are experiencing with their old policies being canceled, being replaced by much more expensive ones, is not new news.  I posted about it back in September 2009.

Reason Magazine presents some cold hard facts on ObamaCare:

The real reason Obama insists upon making the young and healthy buy insurance they don’t want is not the relatively minor free rider problem but the potentially ruinous adverse selection problem: The most expensive patients are the ones who are most likely to sign up for coverage. To keep the official 10-year price tag of his plan below that magical $1 trillion threshold, he needs to balance sick people who rack up big bills with healthy people who pay for insurance but don’t use it. Instead of acknowledging this reality, Obama portrays the healthy uninsured as irresponsible leeches.

Yup, here is a dose of reality for all those idealistic young folks who voted for Obama without a real clue of what he was actually planning, he just views you as a money source he can leech off to support his socialist policies.

Welcome to the farm, Coppertop.

Mitt Romney’s predictions about an Obama second term were spot on

Saturday, November 16th, 2013

Of course, the Obama cultists attacked him and repeatedly used personal slurs, made religious bigoted comments, and manufactured one fake crisis after another in their hate fueled attacks on a good and decent man who dared point out that their own deity was just a man, and a man unqualified and uniquely unsuited for the office of President of the United states.

Round Up Post

Tuesday, November 5th, 2013

File under “Follow the Money”, the Empress Michelle’s so-called “policy initiatives” are bought and paid for by big money lobbies.

HealthCare.gov Users Warn of Security Risk, Breach of Privacy  Golly, Obamacare is a poor designed fiasco of a web site.  No surprise there.

There’s an awful lot of middle-class sticker shock going on with these insurance cancellations…  If you have been listening to the NPR coverage, where they are setting new records for extreme spinning for our Dear Leader, those premiums are only increasing “slightly” and those who complain about it are “whiners.” If you want to see some of those price hikes, check out MyCancellation.com.

The leftists over at Politico admit that the so-called “mainstream media” ignored Conservatives’ warnings about Obamacare for years, and that those warnings were 100% accurate.  Poor Richard’s News sums it up nicely: ” The mainstream media willingly ignores the truth in favor of spoon feeding the American people talking points directly from the White House.”

No surprise here, the NY Times denies that Obama lied repeatedly to the American people.

Quote of the Day

“Jarrett, an old Chicago friend of both Barack and Michelle Obama, appears to exercise such extraordinary influence she is sometimes quietly referred to as “Rasputin” on Capitol Hill, a reference to the mystical monk who held sway over Russia’s Czar Nicholas as he increasingly lost touch with reality during World War I.”

John Fund in NRO’s The Corner

Let’s be honest here.  Barry won’t take a piss without checking with Valerie Jarrett to see how many times he is allowed to shake when done.

It isn’t a budget issue

Wednesday, October 16th, 2013

The current political posturing in D.C. is not over the federal budget.  It’s over a ‘continuing resolution’ to fund the government for three months.

That is because the United States of America is entering its fifth fiscal year without an actual federal budget.  An actual federal budget has not passed both houses of Congress and been signed by the President since George W. Bush was President.

The President is required by law to submit a budget to Congress every year.  The person currently occupying the White House during his golf tour has done so.  Those budgets have been received in a truly amazing display of bipartisanship and  have failed to received a single vote from any member of congress of either party, and that includes the socialist who caucuses with the democrats.   I think the best one of his budgets did was 0-97 in the Senate.

The House has submitted at least one budget, with bipartisan support every year, which Harry Reid has refused to bring to the floor for a vote.  The Senate has produced one budget, within the last year, on a strict party line vote.

It is important to note that when the democrats controlled the White House and both houses of Congress, they failed in their primary duty of producing a federal budget.  It is not because they tried and failed, they just didn’t even try.

So it is clear that having a federal budget, that receives a close examination, and is open to debate and review by the public is not something that the democrats want.  Which raises the question of why they don’t want the transparency that  an actual federal budget would bring.

Quote of the Day

Wednesday, October 9th, 2013

“Increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that “the buck stops here.” Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better. I therefore intend to oppose the effort to increase America’s debt limit.”

Barack Hussein Obama

To be fair, that was what he said back in 2006, when he was a Senator from a fly over state with less than one year on the job.  Perhaps he was just dangerously incompetent.  On the other hand, there was a Republican in the White House back then, so perhaps he was just being the hyper-partisan political demagogue that he has proved himself to be time and time again.  On the gripping hand, it probably is both.

The Washington Post had an article that brought up this quote in the context of the current debt limit debate.  It said that Obama’s rhetoric then  would be considered “a bit Tea Partyish” today.  Spin the standard media bias out of that statement, and it is more than a “a bit.” The article also gives Obama an upside down Pinocchio for his current stance.  In their rating scale, that is “A statement that represents a clear but unacknowledged “flip-flop” from a previously-held position.”

The left’s latest spin

Sunday, October 6th, 2013

A friend of mine recently asked me about the “Republican’s political suicide.” I’m betting he heard that from his moonbat ex-wife.

A quick Google search of “republican political suicide” shows all the buzz is coming from the extreme wacko left.  Mother Jones News, Andrew Sullivan and far left wing extremists columnists in the Washington Post.

Sounds more like wishful thinking than thoughtful political analysis.

Those left wing extremists are fear mongering because they are so scared they are soiling their linens.

What is happening with the minority party standing up to the Imperial Obama Presidency, is that they are firing up their base.  Something they have been really, really bad at for the past few elections.  Obama won on low Republican/Conservative base voter turnout, while he was firing up his base hotter than the Devil’s Wedding Tackle.

The democrats have a real problem in 2016, and that is Obama.  He has turned the Presidency into his personal brand, not the brand of the democrat party.

Biden is an idiot, Hillary is seen as damaged goods, and is already being attacked by democrats and news organizations run for the advancement of the democrat party.

So who are they going to run?

Add to the left’s fear multiple conservative members of Congress who are extremely popular with their base.  Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, etc.  Don’t forget former Rep and Ret. Lt. Colonel Allan West. A conservative that the left singled out for attack based on the democrats’ racist policies.
