Today we are celebrating Not That Kind of Good Guy by John Ringo
The first in John Ringo’s latest series. Mix lots and lots of conspiracy theories with superheros. Then stir in a really smart teenage hero who grew up the wrong color in a really, really bad neighborhood. He’s got serious anger issues, along with a bunch of other issues. Along with a moral code. It’s not one from keeping him from killing people who deserve it, such as those trying to kill him, but it’s his, and he takes it seriously. Then give this angry young man superpowers, and membership in an secret organization that would melt your tinfoil hat. Hilarity, for certain types of hilarity, and lots and lots of violence occurs. Of course things get weird. Deeply, deeply weird. The second book is already out, and the third is in the publishing pipeline.
