The reality of the Tea Party
Just a reminder that the left’s lies about the Tea Party being “racist” are just that, lies.
The members of the Tea Party are a cross section of America, which is hardly surprising, since it is an authentic grass roots organization.

Tax Payers’ Tea Party: How to Become Politically Active — and Why by Sharon Cooper with illustrations by Chuck Asay
Since the vote for Independence was passed on July 2, 1776, I’m going with a political book the founders would have approved of. This book is about citizen government, i.e. a government that works for the citizens not the other way around. It is a manual on how to get involved in politics at a grass roots level. It encourages people to become knowledgeable on the current political issues and lists ways to effectively communicate with elected government representatives.
Quote of the Day
“While the vandals are on the street corners, the Tea Party conservatives they’re working state houses, the governorships, the mayorships, the Senate, the House. See, they understand, they’ve read the Constitution. If you want to make a difference, don’t go break windows, okay? Break some phony arguments that things like austerity are going to put you in the hole. What put you in the hole is borrowing 38 cents of every dollar you spent. That’s what put you in the hole, pure and simple. Everything else is political spin.”

Righteous Indignation: Excuse Me While I Save the World by Andrew Breitbart
Andrew Breitbart tells the story of his transformation from clueless college student majoring in (anti-)American Studies to a warrior for the Constitution and for honesty in in reporting from the main stream media. He explains in detail about collaboration between the DNC and the Media Complex (which includes TV News, print magazines and the film industry) and how to use new media to combat them and win! In chapter 7, he lays out his game plan for fighting the left in details some of the highlights include: Don’t be afraid to go into enemy territory; Don’t let the Complex use its PC lexicon to characterize you and shape the narrative; Ubiquity is key; and Truth isn’t mean. It’s truth.
Leftists will try to talk about “your truth” and “their truth”, which is bullshit. There is just the truth.
Rick Santelli: If Not For Tea Party, U.S. Would Be Rated BBB
The “money” quote:
“Blame the Tea Party? Geez, no wonder Kerry did so well in an election. If it wasn’t for the Tea Party, they would have passed the debt ceiling thumbs up, we would have been rated BBB.”
More violent rhetoric from the left.

Gateway Pundit has this story that you won’t see on MS-NBC.
Gay black Tea Partyer attacked By Racist SEIU Activists at Denver Tea Party
Ann Coulter summed it up well.
“You can always tell what liberals are up to by what they accuse you of doing.”
Let’s review the video of how those “tolerant and open minded liberals” act in the wild.

O’REILLY’S CATCHES JON STEWART WITH DECEPTIVE EDIT
Money Quote: “If Stewart was a journalist I would pound him into pudding. But he’s not. He’s a comedian.”
TEA PARTIER SCOLDS MATTHEWS ON HARSH RHETORIC.
“MSNBC’s host doubled-down on his charge that Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) is a “balloon head” yet refused to answer his guest’s question about Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA) and his famous assertion that Guam was tipping over. Meanwhile, Matthews again mis-characterized Rep. Bachmann’s statements about slavery and claims she said that the forefathers eradicated it, something she did not say. ”
MAHER FALSELY CLAIMS PALIN SAID ‘SOVIETS WON SPACE RACE’
Tommy Christopher, Mediaite: When Palin says “their victory in that race to space,” she’s clearly referring to the specific milestone of launching an artificial satellite into Earth orbit, as opposed to the larger “Space Race” that it precipitated.
Quick Round Up
Kathleen McKinley has a list of the new Black and Hispanic Conservative members of Congress. Remember that all of these newly elected members of Congress were backed by their local Tea Party groups. You remember the Tea Party members, the ones that the lefties are constantly trying to tell you are “racist.”
If you are looking for actual racism, check the democrats’ Porkulus act.
You can also get your fill of hate, racism and threats of violence from the left.
Joe Scarborough: Top Senate Dems have told me privately that Obama doesn’t know what he’s doing.
Using the “logic” that has dominated leftist thinking since the 2008 election cycle, this means that those democrats are “RACISTS!”
What is that so called “liberals” have against the First Amendment and Freedom of Speech?
Is it because they know that they can not compete in an open debate based on facts and reason?

If Juan Williams had said he was nervous around “tea baggers,” NPR would have given him a raise.
I’m surprised that many Americans are paying attention
According to a recent Gallup poll, 63% of Americans expect their taxes to go up over the next year. Hot Air’s Ed Morrissey points out that this poll doesn’t target likely voters or even just voters, it’s a poll of the general adult population. This not a good sign for the democrats. If everybody is expecting their taxes to go up, that means the percentage is probably higher amount likely voters.
I’m betting that more and more Americans are identifying with the two unifying themes of the Tea Party protests, less government spending and a smaller government.
