A Public Service Announcement
Vice-President Biden and that whole Culture of Corruption thing.
The Federal Election Commission has penalized Vice President Joe Biden’s 2008 presidential campaign $219,000 for accepting over-the-limit contributions and a discounted flight on a jet owned by a New York hedge fund. His campaign also was charged with sloppy record-keeping.
Sadly, I’m not surprised.
More violent attacks on the 1st Amendment by the left.
Brietbart TV has the Video of a Union thug attacking a citizen exercising his First Amendment rights.
This is not an isolated incident.
Update on the attacker from Moe Lane.
Obama’s track record
Jeff Miller has made a list of some of our Dear Leader’s promises and how he has followed up on them.
1. He campaigned against an insurance mandate and then gave us one.
2. He promised he wouldn’t hire lobbyists, and then hired at least 40 of them.
3. He promised to release logs of meetings between his staff and lobbyists, and then his staff started meeting across the street with lobbyists so it wouldn’t be logged.
4. He promised not to raise any taxes on families that make under $250,000, and then raised several taxes that apply to them.
5. He promised to post all bills on the internet for five days before he would sign them, and he’s broken this promise with nearly every bill he’s signed.
6. He promised not to tax health care benefits, and then signed a law that taxes health care benefits.
7. He promised to get us out of Iraq; not happening.
8. He promised to close Guantanamo; not happening.
9. He lied about the cost of his health care plan.
10. He promised to televise the health care negotiations, and didn’t.
11. He promised to veto all legislation with earmarks; he hasn’t.
12. He has bragged about continuing the Bush treatment of detainees.
13. He promised transparency and then prosecuted leakers. (Plus, remember this?)
14. He lied about the public option. And about a ton of other stuff.
15. Remembering signing statements? Obama assumes you don’t.
16. Don’t ask, don’t tell? Still in place.
And then there’s the other stuff, the silly and the sad, like the commissions, embarrassing issues of foreign etiquette, lambasting tax breaks he voted for, bribing people with job offers, bemoaning the iPod that he himself uses, his habitual invocation of straw men, his destruction of jobs, wasted money, the cash-for-clunkers/housing-credit idiocy, the foreclosure plan folly, the fake fiscal restraint, unemployment and the stimulus bill, and the fact that Obama’s policies redistribute wealth from poor to rich.
President Obama is not just a mediocre president; he’s not just a bad president. President Obama is a terrible president. He is a terrible president by any standard, but certainly by his own. We were promised great things, and instead, we got just another lousy politician.
The BS Removal Kit
Ya, they are out to make a buck, but somebody has to get the economy moving.
The democrat’s Culture of Corruption marches on
This time it’s democrat Congressman Greg Meeks of New York.
Queens Rep. Gregory Meeks finally fessed up Friday night about why he decided to wait three years to pay back a $40,000 secret loan.
…
The Queens Democrat had been refusing to explain why he made no payments on the loan from Ahmad, a local businessman, until the FBI showed up.
…
He also did not disclose the loan on House documents in 2007 and 2008, as required.
Remember kids, democrat Speaker of the House “San Fran Nan” Pelosi said she would run the most ethical congress, evah!
Obama’s failed leadership highlighted in Arizona
AZ Gov. Jan Brewer points out Obama’s failed leadership.
VP Joe Biden visits a flyover state and gets a request from an American Citizen
Small business owner in Wisconsin tells VP Joe Biden to “Lower our taxes.”
Biden ignores the peasant and his quaint ideas.
A spokesman for the GOP responded to the VP’s visit:
“Vice President Biden probably decided not to take questions today because he didn’t want to fess up as to why Wisconsin has lost over 73,000 jobs since the stimulus was enacted.”
Why are liberals so bad at history?
Current case in point, Elena Kagan, whom our Dear leader wants to put on the Supreme Court. In digging through what little paper trail she has generated, National Review has discovered that Ms. Kagan has compared the NRA to the KKK.
Let us review the basic history here, which Ms. Kagan is clearly unware of.
The National Rifle Association was formed after the Civil War by former Union Army officers to promote marksmanship.
The KKK was formed after the Civil War by former Confederate Army personnel to express their displeasure at people they still considered property conducting themselves as free citizens of the Republic.
One way the KKK expressed their displeasure was by murdering these new citizens of the Repubic.
Their victims reacted in a logical manner in a free society, they exercised their Constitutional protected rights to Keep and Bear Arms and defended themselves against the murderous thugs of the KKK. The KKK didn’t like their victims to be able to shoot back, so they contacted their friends in the state legislatures to pass the very first “gun control” laws in the United States of America.
That’s right folks, the first so-called “gun control” laws were passed to protect the members of the KKK from the newly freed slaves they wanted to murder. The history of one of the left’s major policies, so-called “gun control” laws, is the history of violent racism in the United States.
So, either Ms. Kagan is woefully ignorant of American History, or she is deliberately ignoring the facts in order to promote a political agenda that runs counter to the Constitution of the United States of America. Either one is not a good sign in a potential member of the Supreme Court.
The New Face of the democrat party
Alvin Greene
| The Daily Show With Jon Stewart | Mon – Thurs 11p / 10c | |||
| Alvin Greene Wins South Carolina Primary | ||||

Stewart really summed it up:
This is the Republicans’ fault? Really? Even if they fronted the patsy, y’all voted for him. They didn’t trick you. They didn’t enter a guy with a misleading name like Grit Gravy Biscuit or Nascar Johnson or Robert E. Leebowitz. It was Greene, Greene versus Rawl and 100,000 Democrats walked into a polling place and said, “I don’t know either of these guys. I guess I’m ill-informed and I could easily not vote but fuck it, I like the color green more than the color rawl.”
Did the Republicans spend a lot of money on ads for Alvin Greene? No. Did they spend any money on ads for Alvin Greene? No. Did they ask Alvin Greene to leave his father’s basement once during the campaign? No. This is a prank? No. This is the political equivalent of running yourself a warm bath, falling asleep next to it with your hand in the tub, wetting yourself, and then blaming the Republicans.
Note who is upset over Greene winning, the democrat party leadership in South Carolina. Greene, who is clearly the anti-incumbent candidate, won by a wide margin. Maybe it’s South Carolina democrat party leadership who should be paying attention to this “teachable moment.”
