Gas at $6 a Gallon. Is this change you were hoping for?
Filed under: economy, energy, Obama Economy, Our Dear Leader, Politics
It’s official, gas has hit $5.999 in Florida, which for those of you with poor math skills, is $6.
Despite what that lying hack of a White House Press Secretary says, this is a direct result of our Dear Leader’s policies, including his monetary policies.
Just how is that Hopey Changey thing working out for ya?
Monday Book Pick: The Sixth Column
Filed under: Baen Books, Monday Book Pick, Science Fiction
The Sixth Column by Robert A. Heinlein
The first published work by Robert Heinlein, originally as a serial in the pulps of the 1940s. Based on an outline by John Campbell, Heinlein took some of the edge off the overt racism in the outline. Keep in mind that was written in the 1940s and incidents such as the Rape of Nanking were know. It’s good Heinlein, not great Heinlein.
Friday B-Movie Pick: Hanna
A modern spy thriller with a nice Cold War feel to it. Good cast, great action and visually pleasing. Fire up the popcorn and enjoy.
Monday Book Pick: Perigee
Perigee by Patrick Chiles
A near future novel about the way we should be traveling now! A ripping good yarn with steely eyed Missile Men and Women doing the Right Stuff. To make it even better, the science is so hard it throbs.
13 Politically Incorrect Gun Rules
1. Guns have only two enemies rust and politicians.
2. It’s always better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
3. Cops carry guns to protect themselves, not you.
4. Never let someone or something that threatens you get inside arms length.
5. Never say, “I’ve got a gun.” If you need to use deadly force, the first sound they hear should be the safety clicking off.
6. The average response time of a 911 call is 23 minutes; the response time of a .357 is 1400 feet per second.
7. The most important rule in a gunfight is: Always win – cheat if necessary.
8. Make your attacker advance through a wall of bullets . . . You may get killed with your own gun, but he’ll have to beat you to death with it, because it’ll be empty.
9. If you’re in a gunfight:
– If you’re not shooting, you should be loading.
– If you’re not loading, you should be moving.
– If you’re not moving, you’re dead.
10. In a life and death situation, do something . . . It may be wrong, but do something!
11. If you carry a gun, people call you paranoid. Nonsense! If you have a gun, what do you have to be paranoid about?
12. You can say ‘stop’ or ‘alto’ or any other word, but a large bore muzzle pointed at someone’s head is pretty much a universal language.
13. You cannot save the planet, but you may be able to save yourself and your family.

Obama Sutra – An Illustrated Guide To 57 States of Ecstasy by Stilton Jarlsberg
This book is fornicating histerical! A humorous look at all the problems, screw ups, coverups and flat out incompetance of our Dear Leader explained in terms of doing the nasty!
If you don’t get one of the ‘positions’, don’t worry, at that end of the book he gives the details behind each one.
Obama’s Energy Policy
Filed under: economy, energy, Obama Economy, Our Dear Leader, Politics
Let’s review our Dear Leader’s Energy Policy.
He killed the Keystone pipeline, killing thousands of jobs and putting America’s energy supply at risk.
He had his eye on Brazilian oil, but it looks like the Communist Chinese are going to be on the fast track to get it.
Obama Forbids Uranium Mining on Federal Lands In Arizona for Next 20 Years
North Dakota Stuck Using More-Costly Railroads to Move Oil. “Right now, about 25% of North Dakota’s oil travels by rail. According to the CBS News report that ‘will increase exponentially with increased oil production and the shortage of pipelines.’”
Our Dear Leader is clearly against any proven technology and isn’t as really into alternate technology as his leftist supporters wish he was. His history with alternate technology more in line with Solyndra, which was much more of a political payoff than a good investment of taxpayer money.
Update: The Obama EPA is shutting down an oil refinery that will likely drive up gas prices in the Northeast. Higher energy prices is a goal of the Obama regime, so no one who has been paying attention should be surprised by this.
Friday B-Movie Pick: Jonah Hex
I caught most of this turkey on cable and oh, it was sooooo bad. Bad acting, bad scrip and Megan Fox. Even a dial in performance by John Malkovich (and a Malkovich dial in is still pretty good) couldn’t help this truely bad film. OK, decent special effects, but a bad film none the less.
Quote of the Day
“Liberals claim to want to give a hearing to other views, but then are shocked and offended to discover that there are other views.”
