Obamacare is a tax act
Tuesday, July 3rd, 2012Obama’s Chief of Staff tries to weasel, but Chris Wallace commits actual journalism and provides actual facts, to which our Dear Leader‘s CoS continually denies and repeats the same lies.
The Obama regime SG argued to the Supreme Court that Obamacare is a tax, the Supreme Court ruled that the only way it passed Constitutional muster was under the government’s ability to tax. They were very clear that it was not Constitutional under the Commerce Clause or under the “promote the general welfare” clause. The Obamacare act does not fund a single additional doctor, but it does fund 16,000 new IRS agents in order to collect revenue that will be generated by the Obamacare (more accurately “Obamatax” act). That alone should tell you what the basic nature of the act is, it’s a tax!

Inserting reality into Obama’s spin on Solyndra
Friday, March 23rd, 2012“It is true that “Republicans and Democrats” approved a green energy loan guarantee program. But “Republicans and Democrats” did not approve this loan guarantee program. As FactCheck.org reminds us, the program under which Solyndra was handed $500 million in taxpayer money was authorized in the Obama/Reid/Pelosi partisan “stimulus” bill of 2009. Zero House Republicans voted for that law. Also, a previous Solyndra loan application was explicitly rejected by Bush-era actuaries because of its inherent soundness problems. Some of Obama’s bookkeepers continued to warn against its approval, but they were overruled by the White House political team because the president’s allies were determined to make the company the “poster child” of his green vision. That’s also why Obama ignored internal worries and held a big presidential photo-op at Solyndra’s (now-defunct) factory. The list goes on: Obama DOE officials sat in on Solyndra board meetings. One of Solyndra’s top investors, George Kaiser — who just happened to be a major Obama campaign donor — also just happened to make a flurry of White House visits right before the doomed loan was given the thumbs-up. Kaiser and the White House claimed they didn’t discuss Solyndra during those meetings. They lied. We also know that even after Solyndra defaulted on its initial loan, Obama’s Energy Department conveniently restructured the loan terms, assuring that investors like George Kaiser would be first in line to get paid if (when) the company went belly-up. Obama owns this mess, and he knows it. But he’s obfuscating and dissembling to save his own skin.”

Clearly reality isn’t the left’s strong point
Tuesday, June 21st, 2011The left keeps repeating their talking point, that Gov Sarah Palin, who currently is running rings around the mainstream media, is “stupid” and an “idiot.” In the meantime, the left’s anointed leader, Barack Hussein Obama, who they keep referring to as “the smartest President evah!“, can’t string a basic sentence together without a string of ummms when he isn’t reading directly off a teleprompter. Even with his precious teleprompter, he twice referred to Navy Corpsmen as “corpsemen” in a prepared speech honoring Navy Corpsmen!
This is the “genius” who thinks there are 57 states, that Asthmatic kids should get a breathalyzer, and said the Constitution was written “20 centuries ago”.
Clearly, the collected shared reality of rational adults is not the space inhabited by leftists to whom the message is more important than reality.

This is just another example of how deep our Dear Leader‘s lack of experience runs, and how bad his teleprompter addiction is.

ObamaSpeak vs Websters Dictionary
Monday, September 21st, 2009Kudos for George Stephanopoulos for asking a question that our Dear Leader clearly hadn’t vetted. The White House will try and punish him for it, but as a former White House communications director himself, Stephanopoulos figures it’s probably worth the hit.
Let’s go to the video.
Stephanopoulos challenges our Dear Leader on his proposed tax on those who won’t sign up for government mandated health care, and our Harvard Law School educated President replies with ‘who are you going to believe? Me or that lying Webster’s Dictionary?’
Here is the money quote:
Stephanopoulos: “Under this mandate, the government is forcing people to spend money, fining you if you don’t. How is that not a tax?”
Obama: ” No, but — but, George, you — you can’t just make up that language and decide that that’s called a tax increase.”
Stephanopoulos: “I don’t think I’m making it up. Merriam-Webster’s dictionary: ‘Tax, a charge, usually of money, imposed by authority on persons or property for public purposes.'”
BHO can parse words in a manner that would embarrass Billy Jeff ‘It depends on what the meaning of is is” Clinton, but it won’t change the fact that his argument that the fine isn’t a tax is still fundamentally a lie.
The model for ObamaCare is the Massachusetts system, in which the state Internal Revenue Service determines if you have health care or not and adds any ‘fines’ to your state tax bill.

Obama is getting desperate
Wednesday, August 12th, 2009This is clear from his “speech” at his carefully packed with ringers speech in New Hampshire yesterday.
He told at least two two major whoppers in that attempt to hide the fact that a majority of Americans do understand “ObamaCare” and are very much against it.
The first was the flat out lie about AARP supporting his march to Socialism.
The second was his statement that there would be “no lines” under ObamaCare, which is a crock of shit. Let’s look at the reality of socialized medicine in Canada and England.
Although Canada has a population smaller than California, 830,000 Canadians are currently waiting to be admitted to a hospital or to get treatment, according to a report last month in Investor’s Business Daily. In England, the waiting list is 1.8 million.
Our Dear Leader thinks he can spout any nonsense he wants and no one will check him on it. Well, he’s right in assuming that no one at CNN/MSNBC/CBS/ABC/NY Times will ever bother to fact check the load of crap he is shoveling to the American People.
