US Border Patrol helicopter forced down by gunfire from Mexico
A U.S. Customs and Border Protection helicopter operating near the Mexican border Texas was forced down after taking gunfire from people firing from Mexico. An article from Breitbart states that the helicopter was part of a team interdicting a narcotics load and working with the U.S. Border Patrol. The operation occurred near the headquarters of the Los Zetas drug cartel.
One has to wonder if the Los Zetas were one of the Mexican drug cartels that the Obama regime supplied weapons to.
I am prepared to be underwhelmed by our Dear Leader’s response to this armed attack from a foreign country on US federal agents. The Mexican drug cartels have declared war the US. Hopefully the response will be something stronger than supplying them more weapons payed for by the American taxpayer.
Update: CBP now has armored Blackhawks on the Mexican border.

Joe “Plugs” Biden’s son Hunter was booted out of the Navy for failing a mandatory drug test. In this case, he tested positive for cocaine. Hunter was only the Navy for about month before his illegal drug use was detected. He needed, not one, but two special waivers to enter the Naval Reserve in 2013. One for his age (i.e over 40), and one for his prior drug conviction. Waivers are usually given special skills in short supply, not “public relations”, which was Plugs Jr’s Navy job. It’s pretty clear that the only reason he got those waivers was that his dad is our Dear Leader‘s bullet proof vest. I’m kinda surprised that this story even ran the New York Times. I’m not surprised that they buried the story on page A22 of the print edition. If this had been the son of a senior Republican elected official, this would have been front page, above the fold news. The hypocrisy of the left knows no bounds.

Things our Dear Leader Does Not Want Americans Thinking About

It is a very long list, so I’m just going to hit some of the high points.
This is a clear violation of American’s First & Fifteenth Amendment rights that the left doesn’t care about.
The city of Detroit going bankrupt after decades of single party democrat rule.
As the nice man from Cold Fury puts it, “To achieve this level of devastation, you usually have to be invaded by a foreign power.” Hmmm…given how Obama Cultists feel about the Constitution, he may be on to something here.
The murder of an United States of American Ambassador, and three other Americans, by Islamic terrorists in Libya, and how the security lapses can be traced back to Obama’s State Department. Which was at the time under the command of Hillary Rodham Clinton.
As I pointed out several months ago: Democrat congressman Stephen Lynch on Benghazi Talking Points: ‘It Was Scrubbed … It Was False Information. There’s No Excuse For That.’ Yup, the Obama regime flat out lied the American people for the purpose of ”damage control” prior to the election. This really does call for hearings.
The Economy. Specifically, the Obama economy, also known as the worst recovery since the Great Depression. Obama’s “jobless recovery” is a recovery in name only.
Here are a few more facts about the economy that Barry & his cultists don’t want you thinking about: The current US debt is %16.87 Trillion. That works out to $148,026 per tax payer. Taxes have increased $122.8 Billion in 2013 alone. The current budget deficit is $818.5 Billion. The labor force has 10 million less eligible workers than it did right before Barry started his “Occupy the White House” golf tour in 2009. So when an leftist tries to tell you about Obama’s “job creation” record, it’s a lie. The US is in the hole for 10 million jobs under his watch. Don’t expect much improvement either. You may have missed this if you’ve been feeding at the MSM/DNC trough: Obamacare to destroy up to 1 million low-wage jobs and completely bankrupt Medicaid.
Let’s not forget some other items our Dear Leader is desperate to sweep under the rug, including gathering of phone records of the AP (part of his “most transparent administration evah!” continuing war against Whistle Blowers and Inspector Generals), and Eric Holder’s so-called “Justice Department” which won’t prosecute an open and shut case regarding the Black Panthers.
Remember, this is a short list. There are more Obama Scandals that they want to distract you from by waving the race card.

It is merely a tactic of the radical left to avoid discussion on their own failures.
The Hypocrisy of the Left Knows No Bounds

I saw a leftist ranting on Facebook ranting because a firearm retailer was raffling off a semi-automatic rifle.
Now he called this popular firearm an “assault rifle.” The leftist in question is actually fairly intelligent and well educated. Calling a semi-automatic rifle an “assault rifle” is a sign of ignorance or a deliberate lie committed to create confusion in order to promote an extremist anti-civil rights political agenda. I’ll let you draw your own conclusion in this case.
The same leftist is still ranting about the murders committed in Newtown, committed by a mentally ill adult who violated multiple existing laws in order to obtain firearms he couldn’t obtain legally. When asked about the over three hundred Mexicans killed by semi-automatic rifles supplied to Mexican drug cartels by President Obama’s “Fast & Furious” illegal gun running program, he responded that he “didn’t care.” He also doesn’t care that as many children are killed in drug gang related firearm violence in Chicago every year as were slain in Newtown. Is it because the children in Newtown were mostly White, while the three hundred Mexicans were mostly had brown colored skin and the children in Chicago had mostly black colored skin? Given the left’s history of institutional racism, it would not be surprising. It could also be that his so called “outrage” is politically motivated. Over three hundred Mexicans murdered by Obama’s illegal gun running program or dozens of children killed in Obama’s home town of Chicago doesn’t promote his far left extremist agenda. So he ignores them and repeats leftist talking points instead of engaging in rational debate. I’ll let you draw your own conclusion in this case.
