{"id":4924,"date":"2015-03-12T22:16:03","date_gmt":"2015-03-13T02:16:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.urbin.net\/blog\/?p=4924"},"modified":"2015-03-12T22:16:03","modified_gmt":"2015-03-13T02:16:03","slug":"lets-look-at-the-numbers-again-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/urbin.net\/blog\/economy\/lets-look-at-the-numbers-again-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Let&#8217;s look at the numbers again&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One of the shining qualities of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=WRjr9BijiI4\">Creepy Uncle Joe<\/a>, the current Vice-President, is that he will occasionally let the truth slip from his mouth.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/4g4nIFqdaW0?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Yup, the past six years have been really, really hard for America. \u00a0That is what you get for letting an admitted socialist run the federal executive branch.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s review the numbers. \u00a0The last recession ended on July 1, 2009. \u00a0We have had at least one single quarter of negative GDP growth since then, but it takes two or more in a row to count as a recession. \u00a0That puts America <a href=\"https:\/\/www.urbin.net\/blog\/?p=4586\">over five and half years into a very lackluster &#8220;recovery,&#8221; which has often be described as &#8220;jobless.&#8221; <\/a><\/p>\n<p>Historically, recoveries from recessions have been been as strong as the preceding recession was deep. \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.urbin.net\/blog\/?p=3946\">Except for this current recovery.<\/a>\u00a0 Instead of an actual recovery, <a href=\"http:\/\/pjmedia.com\/blog\/the-economys-worst-8-year-run-in-62-years\/\">we have the worst economy in over a half century<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Clearly, the <em>so-called<\/em> &#8220;economic policy&#8221; of our <em>Dear Leader<\/em> and the Congressional <a href=\"https:\/\/www.urbin.net\/EWW\/polyticks\/democrats.html\">democrats<\/a> have hindered economic growth, which is not a surprise to anyone paying the slightest bit of attention. It&#8217;s a tribute to the robustness of the American economic engine that there has been any growth under the Obama regime&#8217;s anti-growth policies of massive tax hikes, &#8220;wealth distribution&#8221;, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.usdebtclock.org\/\">record setting levels of crippling federal debt<\/a>\u00a0($18.1 Trillion and climbing).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of the shining qualities of Creepy Uncle Joe, the current Vice-President, is that he will occasionally let the truth slip from his mouth.
