{"id":40,"date":"2009-03-30T09:36:40","date_gmt":"2009-03-30T13:36:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.urbin.net\/blog\/?p=40"},"modified":"2009-03-30T09:36:40","modified_gmt":"2009-03-30T13:36:40","slug":"cap-and-tax","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/urbin.net\/blog\/energy\/cap-and-tax\/","title":{"rendered":"Cap and Tax"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Our <span style=\"font-style:italic;\">Dear Leader<\/span>&#8216;s <span style=\"font-style:italic;\">so-called<\/span> &#8220;Cap and Trade&#8221; program is really a <span style=\"font-weight:bold;\">&#8220;Cap and Tax&#8221;<\/span> program that is <a href=\"http:\/\/patriotroom.com\/article\/white-house-admits-obama-energy-tax-will-increase-average-electric-bill-by-1800-per-year;jsessionid=68C760BE6F5BDFE5A0901843A3DC8116\">going to suck more money from the paychecks of <span style=\"font-style:italic;\">every<\/span> American<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>This energy tax is going to hit the poorest the hardest, since they pay the largest percentage of their income on energy costs (electricity, heating and transportation).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.humanevents.com\/article.php?id=31137\">White House sources have admitted<\/a> that this will be an <span style=\"font-style:italic;\">average<\/span> increase of $1,800 per family! <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>President Obama\u2019s energy tax plan &#8212; a version of the failed European \u201ccap and trade\u201d global warming fiasco &#8212; may cost families $1,800 yearly in higher utility bills, far exceeding his promised $800 a year tax cut for 95% of Americans.<\/p>\n<p>While campaigning, Obama admitted that his energy plan would cause electric bills to \u201cskyrocket.\u201d President Obama\u2019s energy tax plan &#8212; a version of the failed European \u201ccap and trade\u201d global warming fiasco &#8212; may cost families $1,800 yearly in higher utility bills, far exceeding his promised $800 a year tax cut for 95% of Americans.<\/p>\n<p>While campaigning, Obama admitted that his energy plan would cause electric bills to \u201cskyrocket.\u201d <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>So when Candidate Obama said that Americans making less than $250,000 a year would not see any new taxes, he was <span style=\"font-style:italic;\">lying<\/span>!
