{"id":3004,"date":"2011-11-24T00:40:11","date_gmt":"2011-11-24T04:40:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.urbin.net\/blog\/?p=3004"},"modified":"2011-11-24T00:40:11","modified_gmt":"2011-11-24T04:40:11","slug":"business-politics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/urbin.net\/blog\/economy\/business-politics\/","title":{"rendered":"Business &#038; Politics"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Usually not a good mix for conversation, and certainly not a good mix where our <em>Dear Leader<\/em> is concerned.<\/p>\n<p>His job killing policies are striking home at small businesses, which are usually the engine that drives job growth.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.11alive.com\/news\/article\/214228\/3\/Company-Policy-We-are-not-hiring-until-Obama-is-gone\">One small business has\u00a0publicly\u00a0stated it is in a hiring freeze until Obama is out of office<\/a>. \u00a0It&#8217;s not that they don&#8217;t want to hire, it is just that they can&#8217;t afford to between an economy where inflation is double the economic growth and\u00a0oppressive\u00a0government regulations drive the cost of doing business up.<\/p>\n<p>Another important indicator is the <a href=\"http:\/\/politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com\/2011\/11\/23\/cnn-poll-blue-collar-democrats-support-for-obama-drops\/\">falling support of blue collar democrats for the President.<\/a>\u00a0This was core demographic for him back in 2008.
