Simon Pegg and Nick Frost wrote the screenplay and star as a pair of British SciFi fans who make the pilgrimage to Comic Con in San Diego.\u00a0Then they start on a road trip to obsure SciFi and UFO sites, including the spot where the ST:TOS episode Arena was film in order to act out the battle between Kirk and the Gorn. Then they run into the title character, a\u00a0Gray, who is colored green in the film (&#8220;Little Green Men&#8221; reference). From there it, the film becomes a drinking game as you spot <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt1092026\/movieconnections\">every single SciFi reference<\/a> slid into nearly every scene.<\/p>\n<p>Oh ya, of course this film, like every episode of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.urbin.net\/blog\/?p=2705\">The Middleman<\/a>, has a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hollywoodlostandfound.net\/wilhelm\/index.html\">Wilhelm Scream<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.urbin.net\/EWW\/goodreading\/Friday_Movie_picks.html\">Friday B-Movie Pick<\/a><\/p>\n<p><center><br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/rcm.amazon.com\/e\/cm?t=eclipsswebwarren&#038;o=1&#038;p=12&#038;l=ur1&#038;category=amazonvideoondemand&#038;banner=1B2BTR6P751PMAH984G2&#038;f=ifr\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\" scrolling=\"no\" border=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" style=\"border:none;\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n<\/center><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Paul This nerd fest of a film is a big sloppy wet kiss, with tounge, to Steven Spielberg.
