Beam Piper<\/a>&#8216;s &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/1461068150\/eclipsswebwarren\" target=\"_top\">Little Fuzzy<\/a>&#8220;, it made my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.urbin.net\/blog\/?p=1769\">Sunday SciFi pick for 4\/11\/10<\/a>. It&#8217;s out now, and I&#8217;ve read it (thanks Fred!), and I have to say it&#8217;s pretty damn good. Piper purists may yelp because there is no contra-grav, but it&#8217;s a bloody reboot! Expect change and embrace it. Scalzi clearly has serious SciFi author chops. He wouldn&#8217;t be my first choice for a reboot of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/B003AU4SQO\/eclipsswebwarren\" target=\"_top\">Space Viking<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/1463726139\/eclipsswebwarren\" target=\"_top\">Uller Uprising<\/a>, but the Fuzzy books, sure.
