They blame new technologies and users of those technologies for their own plight, and aren\u2019t above using violence to achieve their goals. Luddites did their own killing, whereas \u201canti-gunners\u201d \u2014 more \u201canti personal guns for ordinary people\u201d in truth \u2014 try to use the ATF and other government agencies as their\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Monkey_and_the_Cat\">cat\u2019s paw<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">The rallying cry of the anti-gun bigots is usually \u201cfor\u00a0<em>reasonable<\/em>\u00a0gun control!\u201d They claim that old, simple guns are just fine, it\u2019s the new and extra deadly weapons and ammunition that are the evil incarnate.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Volk then goes on to illustrate what those who pay attention know, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.urbin.net\/blog\/?p=2641\">leftists are really<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.urbin.net\/blog\/?p=2614\">bad at history<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Great post by Oleg Volk on violent Luddites.
