Current case in point, Elena Kagan, whom our Dear leader<\/em> wants to put on the Supreme Court. \u00a0In digging through what little paper trail she has generated, National Review has discovered that Ms. Kagan has compared the NRA to the KKK<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Let us review the basic history here, which Ms. Kagan is clearly unware of.<\/p>\n

The National Rifle Association<\/a> was formed after the Civil War by former Union Army officers to promote marksmanship.<\/p>\n

The KKK was formed after the Civil War by former Confederate Army personnel to express their\u00a0displeasure\u00a0at people they still considered property conducting themselves as free citizens of the Republic.<\/p>\n

One way the KKK expressed their displeasure was by murdering these new citizens of the Repubic.<\/p>\n

Their victims reacted in a logical manner in a free society, they exercised their Constitutional protected rights to Keep and Bear Arms<\/a> and defended themselves against the murderous thugs of the KKK. \u00a0The KKK didn’t like their victims to be able to shoot back, so they contacted their friends in the state\u00a0legislatures\u00a0to pass the very first “gun control” laws in the United States of America.<\/p>\n

That’s right folks, the first so-called<\/em> “gun control” laws were passed to protect the members of the KKK from the newly freed slaves they wanted to murder. The history of one of the left’s major policies, <\/a>so-called<\/a><\/em> “gun control” laws, is the history of violent racism in the United States<\/a>.<\/p>\n

So, either Ms. Kagan is woefully ignorant of American History, or she is deliberately ignoring\u00a0\u00a0the facts in order to promote a political agenda that runs counter to the Constitution of the United States of America. \u00a0Either one is not a good sign in a potential member of the Supreme Court.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
