Sweet, sweet Schadenfreude….

Michael Graham writes the following about our Dear Leader’s Press Secretary:

It was one of the tastiest servings of schadenfreude I’ve sampled in a long time.  Watching Carney lie is boring. Watching him lie while he knows everyone watching knows he’s lying is a delight.

What we’ve known from the beginning–and the folks at ABC News are just starting to figure outis that the White House knew within 24 hours--48 max–that the Benghazi consulate was destroyed by a pre-planned, organized attack on the anniversary of 9/11 by Al Qaeda. Which means every time Hillary Clinton said “video” at Chris Stevens funeral or President Obama said it at the UN or Susan Rice said it on TV–they were lying.

They were lying because the CIA, the State Department and the Libyan government has all told them the truth within a day of the attack.

Bottom line, Carney is moving into Bagdad Bob territory every time he opens his mouth about Benghazi.

Of course, the Obama cultists “don’t care” about the President and his staff lying repeatedly to the American people, as long as it is their “lightbringer” doing the lying.

Why is it so important for the liberals to push out the only reporter who covered Benghazi?

“Ghettoization.” If the “neutral media” — actually liberal as hell — can present a unified party line on stories, always supporting one another and never showing a crack in the wall, they can sneer at stories they don’t like by saying “Only Fox claims that.”

This becomes unhelpful to the liberals for the same reason it’s helpful to conservatives. Conservatives always say “Wow, now it’s on CBS!” We call that vindication — that it’s gotten out of the ghetto to the liberal media. That even the liberal media was forced to cover that.

Sunday Round Up

Here is collection of interesting items I put in my “blog about” file but didn’t get to.

Let’s lead off with some Blue on Blue media attacks.  George Soros’ bought and paid for thugs at Media Matters attacked the uber-liberal reporters at NPR for committing an act of Journalism.  Chana Joffe-Walt did a story on that covered the fraud and corruption in the federal disability program on Chicago’s Public Radio This American Life and National Public Radio’s (NPR) All Things Considered.  Ms. Joffe-Walt apparently forgot about the memo that said that all news stories must praise our Dear Leader and blame Republicans.

Jon Stewart, a fairly reliable talking head for the extreme far hard left agenda, ripped in our Dear Leader for basic incompetence on his handling of the obscenely long backlog at the Veterans Administration. Gee, it’s almost as if Obama sees US military veterans as his enemy and is trying to kill them off.

Obamacare’s PR Problem: Not Just a Flesh Wound

Megan McCardle points out an annoying fact that leftists don’t like: The Aaron Sorkin Model of Political Discourse Doesn’t Actually Work

Democrat congressman Stephen Lynch on Benghazi Talking Points: ‘It Was Scrubbed … It Was False Information. There’s No Excuse For That.’  Yup, the Obama regime flat out lied the American people for the purpose of  ”damage control” prior to the election.  This really does call for hearings.

Chicago Law Prof on Obama: “The Professors Hated Him because he was Lazy, Unqualified & Never Attended any of the Faculty Meetings” Hmmm…doesn’t sound like his work habits changed much.

Low information network

…for low information voters.  Yup, that would be the far left extremists at the so-called “news network” MSNBC.

Let’s review the facts of the matter, Pew Research studies have shown that MSNBC content is only 15% actual news.

Compare that to the Emmanuel Goldstein of every “open minded” so-called “progressive”, Fox News, which is much more “Fair and Balanced” with a commentary/News ratio of 55%/45%.  That’s right, dear readers, you get three times more actual news at Fox News than you do at MSNBC.

Now let us take a look at some of the mis-information MSNBC is passing on to it’s core audience of low information voters.   Hot Hair has a couple of videos that illustrate how MSNBC carefully edits the information they pass to their viewers in order to advance their left wing extremist political agenda.  In the first video, the MSNBC talking heads go to great length to imply that Senator Cruz lacks a basic understanding of the Heller case, as well as a basic understanding of the Constitution itself.   In order to promote their politically motivated commentary, they have to ignore what Senator Cruz said in the second video, which is from the same hearing they are attacking him over! In the second clip, Senator Cruz notes that he argued the Heller case before the Supreme Court (which he won), and shreds the case the MSNBC talking heads tried to make.  Just to add insult to injury, one of the MSNBC talking heads, who is supposed to be their token conservative, accuses the NRA of playing games with language for using the correct term “semi-automatic” rifle instead of the nonsense term “Assault Weapon.”  Anyone who has bother to do the basic research on the subject would know that the term “Assault Weapon” was coined by victim disarmament activist Josh Sugarman.  He deliberately wanted to confuse people by implying that semi-automatic weapons were fully automatic weapons that have been under strict federal regulation since 1936.

Another example is Rachel Maddow, supposedly the “smart” one at MSNBC attacking House Minority Leader Boehner for, correctly, stating that US Constitution has a preamble. Here is a video of Maddow claiming that the US Constitution doesn’t have a preamble.

My theory is that Maddow really is aware that the Constitution has a preamble, but is smart enough to know that most of her core audience aren’t the type to actually read the US Constitution.  Even the ever so small minority of those viewers who are aware that she made a mistake, wouldn’t admit it, since it goes against their political agenda.  For the left, their political agenda always trumps the truth.

“This week, CBS News became the first news organization besides Fox to ask President Obama ‘Who changed the Benghazi talking points?’ See, this is very dangerous to the White House if journalists should suddenly start asking real questions.”

Former democrat party pollster and analyst Pat Caddell brings us today’s Quote of the Day:

“I am appalled right now. This White House, this president, this vice president, the secretary of state, all of them are willing apparently to dishonor themselves and this country for the cheap prospect of getting reelected, willing to cover up and lie, and the worst thing is, the very people who are supposed to protect the American people and the truth, the leading mainstream media, they have become a threat, a fundamental threat to American democracy and the enemies of the American people.”

Let’s go to the video replay…

Obama lets the truth slip from his lips…

This is why our Dear Leader shouldn’t be let out without his teleprompter…

Yup. Of course you know if any Republican said that, every major “mainstream” media outlet would be leading with this.

Since it wasn’t, expect to hear crickets instead of any left leaning DNC operative with byline cover this.

MSNBC’s Handpicked Panel of Undecided Voters Breaks Hard For Romney
CNN’s so called “moderator” Candy Crowley Admits Romney Was Right On Libya After All

Our Dear Leader spoke of his support for the former federal ban on semi-automatic rifles used in less than 0.1% of crimes while trying desperately to ignore any reference to his Fast and Furious program that gave that class of rifles to Mexican drug gangs.

One of the supposedly “independent” voters asked about unequal pay between men and women, but either didn’t know or wouldn’t bring up the fact that women in the Obama White House are paid less than men doing the same work.

More later.

Connecting the dots

October 16, 2012 by · Leave a Comment

Erick Eridkson connects the dots between the DNC and so-called “mainstream media.”

Neil King is a political reporter for the Wall Street Journal. He is married to Shailagh Murray who left a reporting job at the Washington Post to take the job of Joe Biden’s communications director. She replaced Jay Carney who moved to the White House and who himself left Time to take the communications director role for Biden.

John Harris of the Politico is married to an abortion rights activist who used to run NARAL Virginia.

The Politico’s Chief Washington Correspondent, Jonathan Allen, left the Politico to work for Debbie Wasserman Schultz, then returned to the Politico.

Andy Barr of the Politico left the Politico to work for the Democratic National Committee and now works for Richard Carmona, the Democrats’ candidate for Senate in Arizona against Jeff Flake.

George Stephanopolous of ABC News used to be a strategist for Bill Clinton and even after becoming Chief Washington Correspondent still engaged in regular conversations with Rahm Emanuel, James Carville, and Paul Begala from the Clinton days. (Ironic, isn’t it, that John Harris wrote that story)

Michael Scherer of Time, where Jay Carney left to go to Joe Biden’s office, got his start in left wing publications, as did Ezra Klein of the Washington Post who famously created the left wing Journolist filled with Washington journalists and pundits to bounce around themes in the left wing echo chamber.

Linda Douglass of ABC News left ABC to serve as Chief Propaganda Officer for the Obama White House in charge of getting Obamacare through.

Andrew Rosenthal of the New York Times made up the story about President George H. W. Bush being surprised and taken aback by a common supermarket check out scanner. The story was made up by Rosenthal who was not even present. Andrew Rosenthal is now the Editor of the New York Times Editorial Page.

The BuzzFeed crew are mostly left of center, hang out with left of center reporters and pundits, and the media considers them and their cat GIFs the second coming of a supposedly objective Huffington Post.

Chuck Todd himself is married to a former DNC staffer and he worked as a Democratic staffer to Senator Tom Harkin. He works with Chris Matthews who worked for a Democrat in Congress and Jimmy Carter. They both work with Andrea Mitchell who is married to Alan Greenspan, the former Chairman of the Federal Reserve. And they’re all just a degree or two removed from Tawana Brawley thanks to their relationship with MSNBC host Al Sharpton.
